Effective Date: May 1, 2026

Welcome to Composit — a visual discovery and moodboarding platform. By accessing or using Composit (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You may use Composit only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law and are not prohibited from using the Service.

2. Description of Service

Composit provides access to a curated library of images and tools for creative exploration, moodboarding, and visual discovery. Content may be sourced from publicly available platforms and third-party contributors.

  • Composit does not claim ownership of third-party content unless explicitly stated.
  • We do not verify the copyright, licensing status, or authorship of all content.
  • All rights to third-party content remain with their respective owners.

3. No License or Usage Rights

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No rights are granted to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from the Service.
  • Composit is not a licensing platform and does not provide content for download or commercial use.
  • You are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from rights holders before using content beyond personal inspiration.

4. User Responsibilities and Indemnity

You are responsible for your use of the Service and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Composit and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the Service or its content
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, legality, or reliability of content and disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Copyright and Takedown

We respect intellectual property rights and aim to comply with applicable laws.

If you believe content on Composit infringes your rights:

  • Submit a request via the Takedown link on our website
  • We will review and act on valid requests as soon as reasonably possible

Verified infringing content will be removed.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Free Trial

7.1 Free Trial

Paid subscriptions may include a 30-day free trial. If not cancelled before the trial ends, your selected payment method will be automatically charged.

7.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until that time.

7.4 No Refunds

All payments are non-refundable, including unused time on a subscription.
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and are not eligible for full or partial refunds upon early cancellation.

7.5 Consumer Rights (UK/EU)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase.
However, by starting a paid subscription, you:

  • Request immediate access to the Service; and
  • Acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once the Service has been fully performed.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have where the Service is not provided as described.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if your use may create legal risk or harm.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
